Rovaniemi, Finland
From the moment we landed in Rovaniemi, Finland felt like stepping into a real-life snow globe. Our Arctic adventure was packed with thrilling snowmobile rides, serene reindeer sleighs gliding through frosted forests, and cozy moments by crackling fires with steaming cups of berry juice. Apukka Resort became our winter haven, offering breathtaking views from our glass-roofed igloo and a much-needed escape into the magic of the far north. While some experiences—like our underwhelming dinner at Aitta—left much to be desired, the exhilaration of chasing the Northern Lights on snowmobiles and the charm of Santa Claus Village made up for it. Even without a dazzling aurora display, Finland delivered an unforgettable journey into a true winter wonderland.
